RMS is a 21 year old Indian-American rapper and producer from New Jersey. The majority of his discography has been written, produced, and engineered by himself. He aims to merge conceptual lyricism, soulful instrumentation, and his experiences as a child of first-generation immigrants in a way that ultimately allows him to bring a sound of his own to the hip-hop scene.

Instilled with the same drive and self-belief that brought his parents to the US from India years ago, RMS relentlessly works towards mastering every dimension of his craft. He began as a producer first at the age of 12, closely studying movie soundtracks to create dramatic soundscapes for his own short films. After he began rapping a few years later, he remained true to his roots by using music to tell vivid stories over grand instrumentation, much like a scene from a film. That’s why much of his signature sound is driven by the desire to create “audio journals” – songs that capture emotion through genuine storytelling, cerebral wordplay, and a moving sonic palette.

RMS has headlined several shows at venues like Milkboy Arthouse, and has opened for artists like Felly and Healy in 2019.
